VBS offers payment plans for any balance that is not covered after down-payment. Students must pay down payment agreed of first semester tuition at registration prior to the first class session, or make arrangements for payment through online payment plan or employer reimbursement/tuition Deferment, if applicable. For payment plan agreement, administration will be available for students

Certificate of Independent Studies cost per course

Certificate of Independent Studies offers distance learning online programs. Students will receive a Certificate of course completed which each program is designed for a specific number of courses and semester hours. These studies are offered to students who are not interested in pursuing a degree program in a specialty area. Programs are offered at the undergraduate level. CIS programs will allow the student the transfer of credits into a degree curriculum, thus providing the option to graduate with the seminary certificate and enrolling later into a full degree program.

Tuition per credit hour for Associate Degrees

The Associate Degree Program is designed to introduce the field of ministry for the beginning seminary student. The program is 60 semester hours in length and provides a Biblical foundation of study for all Christians.

A 3.0 GPA is required on a scale of 4.0. Each course is worth 3 semester hours.

The Bachelor’s degree Program is designed to continue the field ministry for the seminary student. The student must have earned an Associate degree or equivalent to enroll in this program or additional Life Experiences. The program is 60 semester hours in length and provides a Biblical foundation of study for all Christians and especially for those desiring to walk into their ministry calling.

The Master’s Degree Program is 36 semester hours in length and provides a Biblical foundation of study for all Christians. A total of 36 semester hours are required with a minimum of 21 semester hours. A 3.0 GPA is required. Each course is worth 3 semester hours. A Thesis is required for VBS degree courses and Case Studies for Christian Counseling.

The Doctor of Ministry, Theology, Missions and Divinity Program is 36 semester hours in length and provides a Biblical foundation of study for church leaders and individuals who desire a deeper understanding of God’s Word, and the ability to effectively lead others. These degrees require a Dissertation for completion.

The Doctor of Christian Counseling Program (DCC) is designed to give the student an advancement in Christian Counseling and incorporate the programs which will allow for National Christian Counselors Association (NCCA) licensing. The program is 40 semester hours in length. This degree require a dissertation and case studies for completion.

Payment Information Refunding

Non-refundable advance payment is due upon acceptance into a program.

All tuition and fees are due the first day of class. There are payment plan arrangements available through administration. Those that are depending on financial support from churches, organizations or individuals should be prepared to meet financial obligations when due. A late payment of 4% per semester will be charged to students whose accounts are past due. Students will not be permitted to graduate, receive grades, receive transcripts unless all financial obligations to the Seminary have been settled.

Failure to make tuition payments or discontinuance of lesson submissions does not constitute a statement of withdrawal from our online seminary. Students who are experiencing financial or study difficulties should first seek consultation before making a final decision. A student’s financial obligations to the Seminary will continue until receipt of an official request for withdrawal. Students signature of submission at time of admission was an agreement between student and seminary of their financial obligation to be met.

Refund payments – Course tuition fees are not refundable, regardless of the length the student has been in the program. VBS is a non-profit organization, which operate funding as they are received. Students on payment plans that the institution is continuously providing are financial customers of education. The student’s tuition payments fund these services until the student either pays his or her tuition in full, or officially withdraws according to the withdrawal policy. The institution provides ongoing service during the period of the student’s enrollment.

These services include academic advising, program-level course study guides, telephone and email communication services, administrative services, program consultation, grade and transcript record keeping, personal online program guide, qualified faculty support, bookstore services, secure data warehousing, secure banking services for the payment of tuition and fees, official web site services, regular information messages, and opportunities for external experiences and services. It is the student’s responsibility to take advantage of these services, and work toward the online program completion.

Auditing: regularly enrolled students, their spouses, and members of the seminary staff may audit classes without charge provided there is room in the class and they have registered with the Registrar.

Spouses of registered students also qualify for-credit tuition discounts, when they enroll during the same time spouse enroll. Inactive military service members, veterans, military spouses, and dependents are eligible for a military discount.
